The Timeless Land

This land is timeless because it goes

from time to time and never stops.

It makes the homes for the birds,

and the dens for the coyotes.

It gives sand and dirt for the ants.

The trees give shade for everybody,

and there is grass for the cows and deer,

and sun for the plants.
