History

Sides store/Side Street Cafe was built around 1895 by Milburn Sides. The original Sides Store was a single-story building containing a hard wear/harness shop. Local functions such as dances and carnivals took place here with music provided by a player piano or local band and a poker game took place here on a regular basis.

Today

Most recently Sides Store was a small cafe where they serve a variety of food and beverages. In 1999, it was sold to someone who is planning to turn it into an Italian Restaurant. We will miss it.
